Every Child
Every child needs a climbing tree
With branches spread invitingly.
Every child needs a cozy bed,
Pillows soft for a nodding head.
Every child needs strong arms, warm,
Encircling, to keep out harm.
Not all children have climbing trees,
A cozy bed or security.
What common bond do children share?
Our Father's love, His endless care.
Father, help me reflect Your Love and care
to every child who enters my life.
