  (The wrong way...our way)
"There is a way that seemeth right
to a man, but the end thereof is death." Proverbs 14:12 Way (Hebrew="course of life,
mode of action.") "All the ways (lifestyles) of a man
are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits." Proverbs 16:2 We choose our ways...we justify
ourselves in them...we see others faults, but not our own...make excuses for why we DO wrong things...blame others, and we may fool people...even ourselves...but God knows what is in the spirit of a person. He is the One that justifies. Going our own way, the way of
the flesh is the wrong way and in the end there is only death... spiritual death through rebellion against the ways of God. The flesh is corruption...nothing else, and cannot be justified by all the excuses in the world. "Every way (action, lifestyle) of a
man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord pondereth the heart." Proverbs 21:2 We can lie to others, try to lie
to ourselves AND to God...but He is looking inside our heart and we can't fool Him! He is the One that tries the heart...that searches the innermost part of our being, He wants us to face up to our own faults and failures...stop going our own way...for He has a BETTER WAY! The way of a fool is right in his
own eyes; but he that hearkeneth (hears and does) unto counsel is wise. Proverbs 12:15 The Bible is counsel...this message
is counsel...kind and loving words from our elders, parents and pastors is counsel. How often it is ignored! Many have become as fools for doing what they thought was right, while ignoring good advice that would help them to make wise decisions. The journey may at times be hard
for those who walk the straight and narrow way...but look where it ends! Even in hard times the child of God who is submissive to His will can have inner peace and joy and unshakable faith that heaven will one day be their home. The self-willed person is troubled inside with doubts and fears... and nothing to look forward to in the future. Psalms 18:30-32
"As for God, His way is perfect: the Word of the Lord is tried: He is a buckler(protector) to ALL who trust in Him. For who is God save the Lord? Or who is a Rock
save our God? It is God that girdeth me with strength and maketh my way perfect." If we are willing to submit to
God's Word, He will lead and guide our lives into the perfect way. There is no other way to heaven but God's way. The Bible
tells us in John 14 that Jesus is the Way...the way to walk in Him is by doing His will, living the way He lived...the only way we can know that is by studying His Word and applying it to our lives...in other words...keep His words in our hearts and be doers of them. There is ONE right way...that
is God's way...so ask yourself today, am I going His way or my own way??? "Thy Word is a lamp unto my
feet, and a light unto my path." Psalm 119:105 "In the way of righteousness is
